# Add sign-in

> This page is about FlutterFlow (the app builder you use by describing your app), not FlutterFlow Studio.

URL: https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/add-sign-in

Ask the agent for sign-up and sign-in screens so people can create an account in your app, then test the screens in the thread and push them.

Your app comes with sign-in turned on: people can sign in with an email and a password, or as a guest. Until you ask the agent for sign-up and sign-in screens, everyone who opens your app is signed in as a guest. After you push the screens, **Backend › People** lists the people who sign up.

## What to ask {#what-to-ask}

**Google** and **Apple** sign-in aren't available.

To start the thread, open **Backend › People**, select **Sign-in**, and click **Ask for a change**. A new thread opens with "Change how people sign up and sign in:" in the message box.

In your request, say how people sign up and what they can do after they sign in:

> Example request: "Change how people sign up and sign in: add screens where people create an account with their email and a password. Only signed-in people can add habits, and each person sees only their own."

> Example request: "Change how people sign up and sign in: let people look around as a guest, and ask them to create an account before they save a habit."

When a guest creates an account in your app, they appear in **Backend › People** as a new person, and their original guest row stays with the status **Guest**.

## Agent questions {#what-the-agent-may-ask}

If the agent needs a decision from you, it shows a **Question** card. See [Agent questions](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/answer-the-agent).

## Review {#check-the-result}

Before you push, check the sign-in change in the thread:

1. When the turn ends, open the **Screens** tab to see the screens that the agent added or changed. See [Screens](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/screens).
2. Open the **Data** tab. Under **Accounts**, click **Sign in as** next to an account. The preview restarts signed in as that account. To add a test account, click **Add account**.
3. Open the **Preview** tab and use the app as that person.

The accounts on the **Data** tab belong to this thread's data, which is a copy of your starter data. See [Test sign-in](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/test-sign-in).

## Push {#push-it}

When sign-in works as expected, push the thread to your app. See [Push](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/push).

After the push, **Backend › People** lists the people who sign up.

**Email and password** sign-in sends no verification emails, so people can sign in without confirming their address. **Backend › People** (visible to owners and developers) lists these accounts as **Unverified**.
