# Emails

> This page is about FlutterFlow (the app builder you use by describing your app), not FlutterFlow Studio.

URL: https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/emails

The emails FlutterFlow sends about your account, the password reset email for people who use your app, plan receipts, and what it doesn't email.

## Account emails {#account-emails}

You get the emails in the following table when you create an account or ask FlutterFlow for a link. Each one contains a link.

| Email | Sent to | When it's sent |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Verification email | Your sign-in email | When you create an account with an email address and a password. FlutterFlow sends it again when you click any of the following: **Resend email** after FlutterFlow asks you to verify your email, **Send verification** in **Account settings › Profile**, or **Verify email** on an invitation. |
| Password reset email | From the sign-in page: the address you enter. From **Account settings**: your sign-in email | When you click **Forgot your password?** on the sign-in page, enter your email, and click **Send reset link**, or when you click **Send reset link** next to **Password** in **Account settings › Profile**. |
| Email change link | The new address | When you click **Change email** in **Account settings › Profile** (on a phone, tap **Email**), enter a **New email**, and click **Send link**. Your sign-in email changes when you open the link. |

You must verify your email address before FlutterFlow sends your prompt or messages to the agent. See [Create an account](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/create-account#verify-your-email) and [Profile](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/profile).

## Password reset email {#app-password-reset}

When someone who uses your app asks your app to reset the password of an email and password account, FlutterFlow sends a password reset email on your app's behalf. The following table describes that email.

| Detail | Value |
| --- | --- |
| Sent to | The account's sign-in email |
| Sender name | Your app's name, unless you set a **Sender name** |
| Link | Works one time and expires after 60 minutes |
| Where you change it | **Project Settings › Emails › Password reset**, if you're an owner or a developer |

To change the sender name, reply-to address, link, subject, or message, see [Password reset email](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/password-reset-email).

## Receipts {#receipts}

To find your plan's invoices and receipts, see [Billing and invoices](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/manage-billing).

## What isn't emailed {#not-emailed}

FlutterFlow doesn't email you about the following events:

| Event | Where you find out instead |
| --- | --- |
| Your first version is ready | A browser notification, if you ask for one. See [Your first version](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/first-version#notify-me). |
| You're invited to an app | The invitation shows in FlutterFlow when you sign in with the invited email address, and an app owner can send you the invitation link. See [Accept an invitation](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/accept-an-invitation). |
| Your release's status | **Releases**. See [Release status](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/release-status#releases-page). |
