# People

> This page is about FlutterFlow (the app builder you use by describing your app), not FlutterFlow Studio.

URL: https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/people

View the people who sign in to your app, add an account, edit a profile, or delete a person.

Use **Backend › People** to manage the accounts of people who use your app and the profile details that your app keeps about them. **People** needs [sign-in in your app](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/add-sign-in), and only owners and developers can see it.

Changes in **Backend** update your app's [live data](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/glossary#backend-and-data) immediately. To test sign-in with accounts in a thread, see [Test sign-in](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/test-sign-in).

## View people {#view-the-people-who-signed-up}

To view the people who signed up and open a person's profile:

1. Open **Backend › People**.
2. Search for the person, or select them from the list. Search checks only the people already loaded in the list, so to find someone else, click **Load more people** first.

The table lists each person's name, email address, sign-in method, status, **Joined** date, and **Last seen** date.

<Mock name="people-list" alt="Backend People with four people, each with their name, email, sign-in method, a Verified or Unverified status chip, and Joined and Last seen dates, under the People and Sign-in views and the Search people search." />

**People** shows one status for each account, in this order of priority:

| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| **Disabled** | Marked as disabled, regardless of other account details. |
| **Guest** | Active guest account. |
| **Verified** | Active non-guest account with a verified email address. |
| **Unverified** | Active non-guest account with an unverified email address. |

**People** omits the [builder account (shown elsewhere as **You**)](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/launch-data#builder-account).

## Add a person

When your app uses email and password sign-in, you can create an account for someone:

1. Open **Backend › People**.
2. Click **Add person**.
3. Enter the person's **Email**.
4. Copy the generated **Password** or enter your own, and share it with the person. FlutterFlow never shows the password again after you add the person.
5. Optional: If the form shows **Email confirmed**, turn it off to list this person as **Unverified**.
6. Click **Add person** in the form.

The person's name and profile details appear when they first sign in to your app.

## Edit a person {#edit-a-persons-profile}

To edit the profile details that your app keeps for a person:

1. Select the person in **Backend › People**.
2. Edit the profile fields.
3. Click **Save to app**.

To restore the previous values, click **Undo** while it's available.

**Email**, **Sign-in**, **Status**, **Joined**, and **Last seen** are read-only. To manage a person's roles in your app, see [Claims](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/claims). To change which profile fields your app keeps or how sign-in works, ask the agent in a thread.

## Delete a person

To delete a person's account:

1. Select the person in **Backend › People**.
2. Click **Delete person**.
3. Review the confirmation, and then click **Delete**.

To restore the account, click **Undo** in the notification before it closes and before you leave **People**. After the notification closes, the person can no longer sign in with that account.

## Sign-ups on Overview {#check-sign-ups-on-overview}

**Overview** shows your app's total sign-up count under **Sign-ups**. After the first sign-up, it also shows a chart of the total for each day of the last month. To see the total for a day, point to the chart.

The chart's **Analytics** link opens **Analytics** under **Coming soon**. See [Coming soon](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/tour#coming-soon).

## Troubleshooting {#if-something-goes-wrong}

For problems in the running app, including password-reset links and verification emails, see [Troubleshoot your live app](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/troubleshoot-live-app). For problems with backend records or sign-in setup, see [Troubleshoot data and sign-in](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/troubleshoot-data).
