# Profile

Change your avatar and display name, verify or change your sign-in email, and get a password reset link from your account's Profile page.

When you're done, your avatar and display name are the way you want them, and you've requested any email or password link that you need.

## Open your profile {#open-profile}

Your profile is the first section of your **Account** page. To open it, follow these steps:

1. Click your avatar to open the account menu.
2. Click **Account settings**.

Your avatar and display name are the same picture and name that your FlutterFlow Studio profile shows, so a change in one shows in the other.

## Avatar {#avatar}

Your avatar is how you appear across FlutterFlow. To change it, click **Initials**, **Gradient**, or **Image** in the **Avatar** card:

- **Initials** shows the first letters of your name.
- **Gradient** shows a set of colors. Click the one you want.
- **Image** opens a file picker. Choose a PNG, JPEG, WebP, or GIF file. FlutterFlow crops it square.

FlutterFlow saves your new avatar as soon as you choose it.

## Display name {#display-name}

Your display name is the name that teammates see beside your work. To change it, use the **Basic information** card:

1. In **Display name**, enter the new name.
2. Click **Save name**.

## Verify your email {#verify-email}

The **Sign-in** card shows your **Email address**, labeled **Verified** or **Not verified**. If it says **Not verified**, click **Send verification** to send yourself a new verification email.

## Sign-in email {#change-email}

To sign in with a different email address, request a link at the new address from the **Sign-in** card:

1. Click **Change email**.
2. In **New email**, enter the address you want to sign in with.
3. Click **Send link**.
4. Open the link in the email at the new address. Your sign-in email stays the same until you open the link.

## Password {#reset-password}

To set a new password, request a reset link from the **Sign-in** card. You don't need your current password. Next to **Password**, click **Send reset link**. FlutterFlow emails the link to your sign-in email.

## Delete account {#danger-zone}

**Delete account** is in the **Danger zone** card, at the end of **Profile**.

## Troubleshooting {#if-something-goes-wrong}

- If **Profile** can't load, click **Try again**.
- If a change says "Sign in again to change this.", sign out, sign in again, and repeat the change.
