# Refill allowance

Buy a refill on Pro or Max to add a week of your plan's usage to your allowance right away, without changing your reset date.

On **Pro** and **Max**, a [refill](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/glossary#refill) adds a week of your plan's usage to your [allowance](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/glossary#allowance) right away, so the agent can keep working before your allowance resets.

## How refills work {#how-refills-work}

A refill adds one week of your plan's usage to what you have left this month:

- **Your reset date stays the same.** Your allowance still resets on the date that **Plan & usage** shows.
- **A refill ends at your reset.** Use it before your allowance resets, because what's left of it doesn't carry over.
- **You can buy up to 4 refills a month.** The count starts over when your allowance resets. **Plan & usage** shows how many you have left under **Paid refills**.
- **The price depends on your plan.** The US price of a refill is US$10 on **Pro** and US$20 on **Max**, plus tax. The refill dialog shows the price before you pay.

  A refill has no regional discount, and you pay for it in your plan's currency wherever you are.

## Buy a refill {#refill-now}

To buy a refill:

1. In the account menu, select **Plan & usage**.
2. Next to **Paid refills**, click **Refill now**.

3. Click the button with the price, such as **Pay US$10 and refill** on **Pro**.
4. If **Add your billing address** opens, add your address. See [Billing address](#billing-address).

**Result:** Your allowance goes up right away.

## Billing address {#billing-address}

Refills are taxed where you live. If FlutterFlow doesn't have enough of your address to calculate the tax, it asks for your billing address before it charges you.

To add your billing address:

1. In **Add your billing address**, enter your address.
2. Click **Save and pay** with the price.

## Troubleshooting {#if-something-goes-wrong}

- **Refill now is unavailable:** If you've used all 4 refills this month, wait for your allowance to reset. On **Pro**, you can also click **Upgrade to Max**. If your allowance is paused, see [Troubleshoot your account and plan](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/troubleshoot-account#agent-access-paused).
- **Your card was declined:** You weren't charged, and your refill is still available. Click **Update card**, change your card, and then refill again.
- **Finishing your refill…:** FlutterFlow is still processing your payment. You can close the dialog, and the week of usage is added when the payment clears. If the dialog says "Your payment is taking longer than usual.", click **Try again** to continue the same refill. You aren't charged twice.
- **Couldn’t refill your usage:** Click **Try again**.
