# Send to testers

> This page is about FlutterFlow (the app builder you use by describing your app), not FlutterFlow Studio.

URL: https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/send-to-testers

Send a version to TestFlight and Google's closed test, to both stores or one, stop it while it builds, and roll out the first Google Play test upload.

Send a [version](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/glossary#version) of your app to your testers so they can install it with TestFlight on an iPhone and from Google Play on an Android phone.

First, finish each store's setup, and [push](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/push) the changes that testers should get. FlutterFlow builds each version from your app, not a thread.

## Send a version {#send}

To send a version to testers:

1. In [**Releases**](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/glossary#releases), in the bar at the top of the page, click **Send to testers**.
1. In the drawer that opens, review the stores that it lists. To send to one store only, clear the other store's checkbox.
1. Click **Send to testers**.

<Mock name="send-to-testers-drawer" alt="The Send 0.1 to testers drawer with App Store and Google Play both checked, each reading Not sent to testers yet, the line FlutterFlow prepares the iPhone and Android apps and uploads them to TestFlight and Google’s closed test, and the Cancel and Send to testers buttons." />

**Result:** FlutterFlow prepares the app for each store and uploads it: the iPhone app to TestFlight and the Android app to Google's closed test. Apple processes the iPhone app before TestFlight offers it to testers.

FlutterFlow doesn't add testers for you. Add them in App Store Connect and Play Console. See [Add testers](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/testers).

:::note
If your Google Play developer account is a new personal account, Google requires 12 testers opted in continuously for 14 days before you can apply for production access.

## First Google Play rollout {#roll-out-in-play-console}

If your app has never had a release rolled out in Google Play, Google Play keeps FlutterFlow's first test upload as a draft, and your testers don't get it until you start the rollout. The **Google Play** card then shows **Roll out 0.1 in Play Console**, with your version's number.

To roll out the draft:

1. On the **Google Play** card, click **Open Play Console**.
1. In Play Console, start the rollout of the draft test release.

Later test uploads roll out automatically, so you do this only once.

<Mock name="send-to-testers-roll-out" alt="The Google Play card on Releases showing Roll out 0.1 in Play Console and The first test upload is a draft, with Set up done, Test as the current step, Your move, and the Open Play Console button." />

## Stop a version {#stop}

While FlutterFlow is still building the app for a store, you can stop it, for example if you sent a version too early.

To stop a version:

1. On the **Releases** page, click the header of the **App Store** or **Google Play** card.
1. Click **Stop**.

FlutterFlow stops preparing the app for that store only. **Stop** disappears after FlutterFlow starts uploading the app, and on Google Play during the last step of preparing the app.

## Troubleshooting {#if-something-goes-wrong}
