# Submit for review

> This page is about FlutterFlow (the app builder you use by describing your app), not FlutterFlow Studio.

URL: https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/submit-for-review

Submit the version that your testers have for review by Apple and Google, choose a Google Play rollout for an update, and see what each store shows next.

From **Releases**, submit a [version](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/glossary#sharing-and-releases) of your app to Apple and Google for review. Each store then receives the version, and **Releases** tracks its review progress. Owners and developers can submit for review.

First, send the version to testers and answer each store's questions in its console. See [Send to testers](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/send-to-testers) and [Finish console setup](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/console-setup).

## Submit {#submit}

When you submit for review, you send the version that your testers have. Changes that you pushed after that version aren't in it. To include them, [send a new version to testers](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/send-to-testers) first.

To submit a version for review:

1. Open **Releases**.
2. In the bar at the top, select **Send for review**.
3. To submit to one store only, clear the other store's checkbox.
4. If the drawer shows **Before review**, fill in what it asks for:
   - **Privacy policy link:** the address of your app's privacy policy. Both stores show it on your app's page.
   - **Description:** the description of your app for the stores.

   When you submit, FlutterFlow saves these to **Store listing**.
5. For an update to a store where your app is already live, fill in **What’s new**. People see it with this update. The App Store needs it for every update, and Google Play shows the first 500 characters.
6. For an update on Google Play, choose a **Google Play rollout**. See [Google Play rollout](#google-play-rollout).
7. Select **Send for review**.

<Mock name="send-review" alt="The Send 0.1 for review drawer with App Store and Google Play both checked, each sending Version 0.1, Apple’s and Google’s review lines, and the Cancel and Send for review buttons." />

FlutterFlow sends your store listing and your app's store pictures to each store, and then submits the version. If a store's console already has screenshots that differ from your app's current ones, including ones FlutterFlow sent earlier, FlutterFlow keeps them and doesn't send its own.

## Google Play rollout {#google-play-rollout}

When your app is already on Google Play, an update can go first to some of the people who use your app. The **Google Play rollout** list appears in the drawer only for an update.

Select one of the following:

- **Everyone**
- **10% of people**
- **25% of people**
- **50% of people**

After Google approves and publishes the update, it reaches the percentage of people that you selected. To increase the rollout percentage later, use Play Console.

## After you submit {#what-each-store-shows}

Each store reviews the version independently:

| Store | What happens next |
| --- | --- |
| App Store | Apple reviews the version before release. While Apple reviews it, the store's card says "Apple is reviewing 0.1". To make changes after you submit, withdraw the version in App Store Connect. If Apple asks for changes, see [Apple change requests](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/apple-requested-changes). |
| Google Play, first release | FlutterFlow submits the first release to Google Play as a draft. Start the rollout yourself in Play Console: the store's card says "Roll 0.1 out in Play Console", with **Open Play Console**. You can submit later updates from **Releases**. |
| Google Play, update | Google reviews the update. After Google approves and publishes it, the update reaches the percentage of people that you selected. If the store's card says "Publish 0.1 in Play Console" or "Send 0.1 for review in Play Console", finish that step in Play Console with **Open Play Console**. |

For every status that **Releases** shows, see [Release status](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/release-status).

## Troubleshooting {#if-something-goes-wrong}

- If the drawer says "Release details changed. Review the latest versions before submitting.", the version, the app's App ID, or a store connection changed while the drawer was open. Select **Review latest versions**, and then submit again.
- If a store refuses the version, or you see a review state that you don't expect, see [Troubleshoot phone builds and store releases](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/troubleshoot-releases).
