# Troubleshoot your live app

> This page is about FlutterFlow (the app builder you use by describing your app), not FlutterFlow Studio.

Fix problems with backend usage, password-reset links, and the emails that your app sends.

## Your app can't load or save records {#cant-load-or-save}

**What it means:** Your app rejects requests when its [backend usage](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/glossary#backend-usage) reaches a limit.

Your app's backend can have usage limits, such as on **Database reads** and **Database writes**. Check your current usage in **Backend › Usage**.

**Fix it:** If your app is over a monthly limit, such as on reads or writes, wait until its usage counts start over on the first of the month (UTC).

For more information, see [Backend usage](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/backend-usage).

## "This link has expired. Ask the app to send another password-reset email." {#reset-link-expired}

**What it means:** The password-reset link has expired. This message appears on the password-reset page hosted by FlutterFlow.

**Fix it:**

1. If your app lets people request a password-reset email, ask the person to request a new one.
2. Ask them to open the link in the newest email and set a password.

## "This link was already used or is not valid. Ask the app to send another password-reset email." {#reset-link-invalid}

**What it means:** Someone already used the password-reset link, or the link isn't valid. This message appears on the password-reset page hosted by FlutterFlow.

**Fix it:**

1. If your app lets people request a password-reset email, ask the person to request a new one.
2. Ask them to open the link in the newest email.

## "Too many requests. Try again in …" {#too-many-reset-requests}

**What it means:** If this message appears when someone asks for a password-reset email, your app received too many password-reset requests in a short time. When there are too many requests for a single email address, your app's backend responds with "Too many password-reset requests for this email."

**Fix it:**

1. If the person already received a password-reset email, ask them to use the link in the newest one. Reaching the request limit doesn't invalidate an existing link.
2. If they need another email, ask them to wait before requesting it again.

## People don't receive verification emails {#app-no-verification-email}

**Email and password** sign-in sends no verification emails, so people can sign in without confirming their address. **Backend › People** (visible to owners and developers) lists these accounts as **Unverified**.

## "Couldn’t load the emails." {#couldnt-load-emails}

**What it means:** FlutterFlow couldn't load the email list in **Project Settings › Emails**. The message includes details about the failure.

**Fix it:** To reload the list, select **Try again**.

For more information, see [Emails](https://docs.flutterflow.io/ffx/emails).

## "Couldn’t load the email." {#couldnt-load-email}

**What it means:** FlutterFlow couldn't load the email you opened in **Project Settings › Emails**.

**Fix it:** To reload the email, select **Try again**.

## "Someone else saved this email while you were editing" {#email-edited-elsewhere}

**What it means:** Someone else saved changes to the email after you started editing it, so FlutterFlow didn't save your changes.

**Fix it:**

1. Copy any changes you want to keep.
2. Select **Load their version**.
3. Apply your changes to the loaded email, and then select **Save**.
