Change plan

Choose or change your plan and its allowance on Plan & usage in the account menu.

Plan picker

The plan picker shows the three paid plans side by side: Basic, Pro, and Max. Each plan shows its monthly price and one button. The picker marks your current plan Your plan and its recommended plan Suggested.

Stripe takes the payment in the picker. Prices exclude tax. The checkout adds tax based on your location.

Plan prices depend on the country of your internet connection, so using a VPN or traveling can change them, and they may be lower than the US prices.

Upgrading from Pro to Max keeps your Pro currency and regional pricing. Refill prices use your plan’s currency regardless of your location.

Choose a plan

If you’re on Free, start a paid plan:

  1. In the account menu, select Plan & usage.
  2. Under Current plan, click Choose a plan.
  3. Under the plan that you want, click Choose Basic, Choose Pro, or Choose Max.
  4. Complete the payment in the checkout.
  5. When the picker shows Welcome to and your plan’s name, click Start building.

You’re on your new plan, and its monthly allowance starts right away. Stripe emails your receipt.

Upgrade from Basic

When you upgrade from Basic to Pro or Max, the new plan replaces Basic, and you get credit for your unused Basic time:

  1. In the account menu, select Plan & usage.

  2. Click Change plan.

  3. Under the plan that you want, click Upgrade to Pro or Upgrade to Max.

A note above the checkout says how much credit for unused Basic time comes off today’s payment. Basic ends when you pay.

  4. Complete the payment in the checkout.

  5. When the picker shows Welcome to and your plan’s name, click Start building.

Upgrade from Pro to Max

When you upgrade from Pro to Max, Max starts right away, and you pay today for the rest of your billing month (or year if you pay yearly):

  1. In the account menu, select Plan & usage.

  2. Under Need to build more?, click Upgrade to Max.

The Upgrade to Max? dialog shows the amount Due today and your Next payment with its date. If you pay yearly, it shows your Renewal rate instead of Next payment. Today’s amount includes any credit for unused Pro time.

  3. Click Pay {amount} and upgrade.

  4. When you see Welcome to Max, click Start building.

Move to a lower plan

To move from a Pro or Max plan you own to a lower paid plan, cancel your current plan and then select the lower plan after your current billing period ends. Three cases work differently:

  • Agency plan: Change your plan in FlutterFlow Studio (Plan & usage shows Manage in FlutterFlow Studio instead of Change plan).
  • Studio team with more than two members on Max: Move to Pro in Studio (clicking Change plan shows Manage in FlutterFlow Studio under Pro).
  • Failed last payment: Pay the overdue balance before canceling or downgrading (Plan & usage shows Complete payment instead of Change plan).

For example, to move from Pro to Basic:

  1. On Plan & usage, click Change plan.

  2. Under Basic, click Cancel Pro first.

  3. In the Cancel Pro? dialog, click Cancel Pro.

You keep Pro and its refills until your billing period ends. At that point, your Studio plan ends too (for your whole Studio team, if the dialog names one) and your account switches to Free. Until Pro ends, Basic is disabled and shows Choose after with the end date.

  4. After your billing period ends, click Choose a plan on Plan & usage, and then click Choose Basic.

FlutterFlow charges you for Basic only when you choose it. To stay on Pro before your billing period ends, click Keep Pro on Plan & usage.
