Connect a service

Set up a connection so that your app and the agent can use an outside service.

To connect App Store Connect or Google Play, see Connect App Store Connect and Connect Google Play.

Connect a service

Only a project owner can connect services. To connect a service from your app’s settings:

  1. Open Project Settings › Connections.

  2. Find the service, or filter the list with Search services or a category.

  3. Turn on the service’s switch, or click its name. If the service shows Set up instead, follow its own setup steps. For AdMob, see AdMob.

  4. If the dialog offers a choice, choose how to connect.

  5. Enter the key, and then click Connect. Find it opens the page where the service shows the key.

The service verifies the key before FlutterFlow saves the connection.

Reuse a connection

When you have a connection that you can reuse, the dialog lists it first, with a label such as Use the key from Ledger. Select it to connect.

To connect another account instead, choose a way under Or connect another.

To replace or disconnect a connection later, see Manage connections.

Connect when the agent asks

When the agent needs a service, it asks you to connect it in a card above the message box in the thread. The card offers Not now to skip connecting and one of these actions:

  • Connect, followed by the service’s name: connect the service.
  • Link to this project: use a saved connection in this app.
  • Continue: proceed with the connection that’s ready.
  • Reconnect: connect the service again when its connection needs attention.

Only a project owner can connect or link a service.

For app store account prompts, see Connect App Store Connect and Connect Google Play.

Add the feature

To ask the agent to use a connected service in your app:

  1. In Project Settings › Connections, click the service’s Options, and then select Settings.
  2. If your app doesn’t use the service yet, click Add to my app. A new thread opens with a starter request. Only an owner or a developer can start a thread.
  3. Describe what you want the feature to do, and then send the request.
  4. Check the result in the thread.
  5. When the result is ready, push the thread to your app.

You can also start a thread yourself and ask for the feature directly. For an example, see Stripe.

To control what the agent can do with your own accounts in Account › Connections, see Tools for the agent.

Troubleshooting

For a key that’s refused, a connection that needs attention, or a missing service, see Troubleshoot connections.
